Licensed Massage Therapist Idaho MAS-3470

Natural Therapeutic Specialist

Annelies has always had a calling for deserts, mountains, and the healing arts.

She completed her training in Albuquerque at the New Mexico School for Natural Therapeutics, one of the original massage schools in the United States. This program included extensive training in massage techniques, polarity therapy, and herbalism, among many other modalities.

Upon her return to Wyoming Annelies focused deeper into Deep Tissue and Thai Techniques. You will find her massage energizing while relaxing, restorative, therapeutic, and deeply healing.

Annelies has been training with the Power Path School of Shamanism since 2019. Her lineage is from Shipibo and Wixarika (Huichol) healing modalities. Annelies brings this passion into her practice in her shamanic healings which pair wonderfully with massage. Healings include the use of song, feathers, plants, and other natural elements and are a way to restore body, mind, and spirit to a state of harmony and balance.

She is licensed and insured.

Massage engages the parasympathetic nervous system which controls the body's rest and digest functions.

Massage is an effective treatment for pain and muscle tension. It promotes relaxation of tight muscles, reduction of inflammation, and activates endorphin production.

Treating yourself to a massage provides necessary time for you to unwind and recover and supports sound sleep.

Regular bodywork boosts immunity by decreasing stress and increasing white blood cells.

Massage reduces levels of the stress hormone cortisol enabling the body to enter a state of rest, thereby promoting lasting feelings of relaxation.

Bodywork stimulates circulation and lymphatic drainage helping to break up stagnation and move toxins from the body.

“I had the BEST massage with Annelies! I was so sore post-skiing and she knew exactly how to respond to my body's needs. I highly recommend her! The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. She also applies the exact pressure you need/expect. GO!.”
